If you lose yourself in the streets of Venice at dawn’s first light you can hear ancient sounds, see all the things that are hidden and smell the infinite scents of antiquity.

 Time passes with the movement of the water, faraway voices break through the fog and let you know that the city is waking up and just like that, one by one the dreams vanish.

You, my city that never changes and that everyone mistreats without realizing all that you give us each day.

Even for those of your children who live far away, the memory of you and all the lessons you taught us, make us different and unique just like you are.

This city gives me sensations that I remember from my native Naples, even the people are similar; they are pleasant with you even if you are a stranger that they meet on the street.

The architecture is what has fascinated me the most and I try to capture it from a different point of view.

People fascinate me.  I like to scrutinize them from afar, imagining who they are, what they do, and what they are thinking.

I never ask them, I’d like to believe that they are what I believe them to be and what I capture  through my lens.
